Lines Wrap.

This long wrap is a finer weave made with some beautiful yarns! Possum merino (mustard) and cashmere merino (grey/green) yarns with some highlights of hand spun romney dyed with turmeric, lichen and cochineal.
The warp is hand dyed soft merinos. An easy to wear piece that can be bunched up to wear as a big scarf. Mostly woven in tabby (plain weave) with a few stripes in the twill design.

A super soft finer weave. Possum merino is low allergy and easy to wear close to the skin. The cashmere feels very soft.

Width – 57cm
Length – 208cm plus tassles. Please ask if you would like them twisted.

I wash each piece as soon as it leaves the loom. This evens up the fibres, cleans them and fluffs them up to look their best. Your weaving doesn't need excessive washing, wool is great for repelling dirt and moisture. To wash, by hand gently, a non chemical liquid works best, then a quick spin around the washing machine to get out the excess water or roll in a towel. Give the weaving a shake and gently pull the fibres across the width of the weaving. Hang in the breeze over a towel on the line until dry... Easy!!

Rolling up your weaving to travel or store will prevent and remove creases.

Word to the wise...

If you ever catch any of the fibres, gently pull the weaving widthwise and the fibres will disappear back into the fabric.
