Hand Weaving Workshop 6/7 October 2023

Dates – Friday 6 and Saturday 7 October starting at 9.30 and finishing at 5pm

A 2 day workshop where you will design, weave and take home your own wearable textile. You will learn to use a 4 shaft table loom and weave with luxurious NZ wool yarns, merinos, possum/merino and alpaca, most of the yarns I hand dye. Choose the colours you would like to weave with before the weekend, or decide on the first day from an large range of gorgeous hues. No weaving experience is required.

Fees – $450 full payment will secure your place on the workshop which includes tuition, all materials, use of equipment, and delicious vegetarian lunches on both days. The workshops are non refundable, you are welcome to transfer your place a friend if you can’t make it on the day. Your fees contribute to handwork education at the Titirangi Steiner School where the workshops are held.
